Bad news for barca fans:Barca banned from signing any players next season

arcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has spoken out about the transfer ban handed to his club by FIFA...which will stop the Catalan club from signing any new players until the summer fo 2015. And Bartomeu...wasn't pulling any punches...when it came to voicing his displeasure with the decision.

Barca were banned on Wednesday from signing any players next season, after being found guilty of repeatedly breaching transfer regulations. It followed an investigation over the past year into the Spanish champion's signing of players under the age of 18, between 2009 and 2013.

The news threw several ongoing deals into doubt - including the one of 17 year old Alen Halilovic who's been dubbed the "Croatian-Messi". But Bartomeu has now spoken out about the punishment, and told reporters he feels there are people, who are out to hurt Barcelona.

Josep Maria Bartomeu, FC Barcelona president, said, "That's right...then we will communicate them."
