Following reports that BBA winner, Karen Igho is battling cancer, fans have been expressing fears over her condition.
According to Udoka Ogbonna, a resident of Port Harcourt, "My heart goes out to Karen at these trying times. I pray that God should give her the strength to pull through."
For Akevweoghene Adagha, a businesswoman in Lagos, "Karen has worked so hard she does not deserve this. I hope and pray she makes it. I know she has a strong and fighting spirit. Karen, we are behind you."
Karen recently took to twitter and revealed that she had been diagnosed with the life-threatening disease which kills thousands of women across the globe annually. In an emotion-laden tweet, Karen had tweeted: "I have cancer. Are you guys happy? I will be undergoing treatment soon. Lord I commit my life into your hands. I told the whole world about my lump and I get bullied everyday for being truthful."
Karen came under heavy criticisms from Nigerians after she came out openly to declare that she had implants. But she did not allow the views of other people to weigh her down. Instead, she has continued with her career and even ventured into the movie industry where she made her debut when she got a role in Tinsel, one of the best television series in the world.
